Gateway Integration and Payment Options
Tebex Checkout has supported the PaysafeCard prepaid eCash solution since 2016. The new gateway integration replaces previous setups with a single API link, enabling direct access to Paysafe’s full payment suite. Card transactions now process within seconds, allowing studios to route player purchases through one standardized system without additional technical configuration.The gateway also connects Tebex to branded alternative payment methods, with Openbucks already active in the checkout flow. This method targets the United States market, allowing players to complete purchases using cash at over 67,000 retail locations or through the Obucks digital card sold by authorized online resellers.
The addition expands regional payment coverage and aligns checkout options with local purchasing habits.
Zak Cutler, President of Global Gaming at Paysafe, stated that the gateway addresses diverse transactional requirements in a competitive market by linking Tebex to established payment brands.
