Super Technologies has been appointed to the board of directors of the European Gaming and Betting Association. The Brussels-based organization confirmed the decision on July 17, 2026, following the company’s initial membership in October 2024.
Board Appointment and Regulatory Focus
Borut Petek, chief global affairs officer at Super Technologies, stated that the board position represents a key development for the firm. He noted that the appointment aligns with the company’s stance that industry stability requires a functional regulatory framework. Petek added that European markets could establish global benchmarks for gambling oversight through coordinated efforts between operators, policymakers, and regulatory bodies.Maarten Haijer, secretary general of the EGBA, confirmed that Super Technologies has maintained active participation since its initial entry. He indicated that the company’s operational knowledge will support the association’s efforts to maintain market integrity and consumer safety across European online gambling sectors.
The EGBA previously highlighted that this board addition reflects the company’s expanding role in the organization’s ongoing initiatives.
